When I ask myself what my most prized possession is? I find it has been changed over the time. Most Prized possessions lose its status with time Heart chooses the meaning, not the monetary value. Human beings’ hearts are not accountants like brains. Couples in love relationships looks towards each other as a prized possession. The relations which you love more than yourself. Like, a mother may consider her daughter or son as the most prized possession or a wife may consider husband and kids as precious possessions. While some other value relationships more than material objects. Some people treasure things passed on to them by their parents (rings, wrist watch, jewelry, cars, jackets, house, smart phone, laptops etc.). Such prized possessions have emotions attached with them and these can’t be bought by money. Why do we treasure prized possessions?īut why are such possessions so important to us? Naturally, prized possessions differ from person to person and so do our reasons for these things being so important to us. It may even sound irrelevant to someone else because it has no value for them. It could be anything you cherish, which is close to your own heart and can be worth millions or worth nothing. Such valued possessions are something important which are valued over everything else. Something you care for deeply above all else. Things, you could not bear to (and hopefully won’t ever!) lose. Possessions which are biggest thing in your life, the one thing you couldn’t imagine your life without. The one which you value more would be something that you will never like to lose, or things that make you feel pleased, fortunate, unique, and superior, right? So before we move forward let’s first try to define prized possessions. Out of these possessions you may value a particular one more than another. The dictionary meaning of possession is – something you own. This kind of giving of ourselves to another is what Jesus meant when he said, “Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.” Take a chance, believe you will be filled to the fullest when you concern yourself with someone you love and find yourself in yet another Treasured Moment.What is your most prized possession in life? You might not have even realized it, but all of we have prized possessions in our lives. We make plans and try to achieve love, but we find it falls short of ever satisfying those empty places in our soul. I find there is nothing greater than love being poured out to another. There are times when I speak and act on her behalf, worrying about her interests, and finding out about her dreams. However, there are times when I really look into Bonnie’s eyes and into her life and really see her as a person who wants to be loved and cherished.
Yes, I’m grateful she is in it but I find myself more consumed with the things I’m interested in, and less so with her interests. Satisfied with the close company and having that person who wants to hold my hand and share a life together, I tend to go on about my world. Wondering down the trails of time in my mind, I find a constant in my life – I want a companion.
